Kemiluppen - a new app for Danish Consumers

Forbrugerrådet Tænk Kemis app Kemiluppen will give consumers a better overview of care products - and thus avoid chemicals. Ratings are A, B and C. 

A means a good choice if you want to avoid a number of problem chemicals, whereas B signifies that the products do not contain such chemical but may contain perfume or aromas.

At this time, five of our products have been evaluated. Enebærsalve, Hennapulver and Mandelolie have been given an A, and Dragebalsam and E-vitaminsalve have received a B.

Chewing gum test

In addition, Tænk Kemi has tested a vast number of chewing gums in the Danish market for their content of BHA and BHT (E320 and E321) as both substances are suspected of being hormone disruptive. Birkesød Xylitol chewing gum was part of the test. No hormone-disruptive substances were found.
