Recommended use:. 1 level tsp per cup of boiling water. Let brew for 5-10 minutes and strain before serving. Drink 1 cup with each meal. May also be used for bitters.
Common tormentil is characterised by its bright red roots. The small yellow flowers with only four petals make it easy to recognise the plant. Natural habitats are forests and moors. Only the roots of the plant are used. Make a blood-red snaps - useful as a mixer in bitters - or a cup of herbal tea. In addition, common tormentil is used as a dye because of its tannin content.
