Recommended use:. ½-1 tsp per cup of boiling water. Let brew for 5-10 minutes and strain before serving. Drink 1-3 cups per day. May also be used as a culinary spice.
Since the Middle Ages, caraway has been used as a fresh herb for cooking, but today we mostly use the seeds - and mainly for bread and cheese. Caraway seeds have an aromatic and 'sharp' taste. Caraway oil is used, among other things, for Danish schnapps.
