Cinchona is used for tea extracts
- Bitter substances are extracted from the bark of cinchona
- Used to produce the bitter taste of tonic water
- May also be used for herbal tea
Recommended use:. 1 level tsp per cup of boiling water. Let brew for 5-10 minutes and strain before serving. Drink 1 cup with each meal. Use sparingly.
May also be used for bitters.
