Recommended use:. 1 tsp per cup of boiling water. Let brew for 3-5 minutes and strain before serving. Drink 1-2 cups 3 times per day.
Barberry is a deciduous shrub growing up to 3 m tall - with oval, dull green leaves, clusters of yellow flowers and red berries on thorny twigs. Bark from root is used.
Dried barberry makes a nice cup of herbal tea.
