Recommended use:. ½-1 tsp per cup of boiling water. Let brew for 5-10 minutes and strain before serving. May also be used for bitters.
Lemons are well-known all over the world - even if they naturally belong to warm climate zones. The yellow aromatic fruit with its thick peel comes from a small tree with green lemon-scented leaves. While we remove the peel of other citrus fruits - such as oranges, mandarins and grapefruits - to eat the fleshy parts, we normally use the peel and the juice from lemons. Dried lemon peel may be used for herbal tea or in bitters.
