Lemons are well-known all over the world - even if they naturally belong to warm climate zones. The yellow aromatic fruit with its thick peel comes from a small tree with green lemon-scented leaves. While we remove the peel of other citrus fruits - such as oranges, mandarins and grapefruits - to eat the fleshy parts, we normally use the peel and the juice from lemons.
