Liposomal C-vitamin for better absorption of Vitamin C

The human body needs Vitamin C to function properly - but it does not produce Vitamin C. Consequently, you must eat a diet with the right amounts of Vitamin C - or take a dietary supplement.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is a water-soluble vitamin that contributes to the normal function of the immune system and the body's energy metabolism. Vitamin C is part of the connective tissue. In Liposomal C-vitamin the ascorbic acid is encapsuled in so-called liposomes, microscopic bubbles (vesicles) with a phospholipid membrane that resembles the body's own cell membrances. Liposomal encapsulation of ascorbic acid makes the absorption from the intestines easier than for "normal" Vitamin C.
