The senna family consists of two kinds, both small shrubs that may grow to 1 metre tall. The leaves grow in pairs, and its yellow flowers turn into 7 cm legume fruits.
Marmalade Recipe:
- 750 g prunes
- 750 g figs
- Approximately 2 liters of water
- 10 g senna leaves
- 750 g syrup
- 750 g honey
Soak prunes and figs for a day, then blend them. Add syrup and honey and briefly bring the mixture to a boil. Add the senna leaves. Optionally, preserve it. Suitable for freezing. Max daily intake: 3 teaspoons of marmalade.
