1 tablet contains 280 mg dried and powdered senna pods, Tinnevelly (Cassia Angustifolia Vahl, fructus) = 6 mg sennoside B.
Thea Go’, senna pods, herbal tea and tablets: Herbal drug for short-term use in case of indigestion and sluggish emptying of bowels. Contains cut or powdered senna pods. Dosage, adults: 1-3 tablets, 1 herbal teabag or 1 cup of herbal tea per day as needed. Pour boiling water on teabag/tea leaves and steep for 5-10 minutes. For short-term use only - consult your doctor for long-term use (1+ week). Consult your doctor before administering Thea Go’ to children under the age of 12. Do not use Thea Go’ if you are allergic to senna pods or suffer from intestinal strictures or other conditions that may hinder the normal passage of food items through the intestines, in case of inflammatory conditions in the intestinal tract or stomach pains (unknown reasons) or in case of major fluid and electrolyte imbalances. Caution in case of fecal impaction or other digestive problems (unknown reasons). Not for long-term daily use. Use Thea Go’ only if you do not get results from a fibre-rich diet or by taking laxatives containing fibres. Consult your doctor before use if you suffer from reduced liver or kidney function or other major conditions. Simultaneous ingestion of large doses of senna glycosides from Thea Go’ and diuretics, corticosteroids or liquorice root may cause an electrolyte imbalance, in particular hypokalemia. Hypokalemia may result in increased sensitivity to digoxin. Pregnant and lactating women: Consult your doctor before use. Negative side effects: Stomach cramps and pains.
