Toothpick plant belongs to the carrot family which also includes dill, parsley and chervil. This luxuriant plant has a multitude of white flowers that resemble lace. It is in bloom for months and is a beautiful sight - both on its own or with other summer flowers in your garden. Dried toothpick plant makes a nice cup of tea.
The name of the plant is presumably due to its stems being used as toothpicks by ancient Romans.
